Dubai continues to lead by example when it comes to climate ambition, innovation, and long-term vision. As someone deeply committed to sustainability and the future of green economies, I am proud to support initiatives that go beyond words; and take action.

This August 29, the Sustainability Innovation Awards 2025 will take place at Al Habtoor Palace Dubai. An inspiring occasion to recognize visionary individuals, businesses, and initiatives transforming industries through future-ready solutions.

The Awards

The Sustainability Innovation Awards 2025 celebrates trailblazers in sustainability, recognizing exceptional contributions across industries that are shaping a greener, more resilient future in the Middle East. This distinguished event honors visionary individuals, groundbreaking corporate initiatives, and transformative projects that redefine sustainability, inspiring businesses to push the frontiers of innovation and environmental stewardship.

Sustainability and green energy have become cornerstones of progress in the region, with governments and industries prioritizing eco-friendly solutions like never before. From cutting-edge renewable energy projects to smart infrastructure and carbon reduction initiatives, the Middle East is witnessing an unprecedented shift toward sustainable growth. With sustainability no longer an option but a necessity, businesses are embedding green practices at their core, reinforcing the region’s position as a leader in global environmental innovation.

Why does this matter? Because sustainability is no longer an option, it is an imperative.

Dubai’s roadmap speaks for itself:

75% of energy to come from renewables by 2050

30% cut in energy and water consumption by 2030

Full electrification of taxis by 2027 and pilot autonomous taxis launching by 2026

Coastal regeneration with 100 million mangroves capturing over 1.2 Mt of CO₂

Development of Expo City into a sustainable 15-minute city model

A full embrace of the UN SDGs from clean energy to responsible consumption

The UAE is not just pledging goals, it is building them, from the ground up. Let’s support and spotlight those raising the bar for innovation, resilience, and environmental leadership.

Nominations for the awards are now open. If you know a project or leader worth celebrating, now is the time.
