March will be an eventful month for Dubai. In the center of the city, the World of Web3 Festival (WOW), a grand event organized by GuyWay Events, will take place at the Burj Park. It will take place from March 12 to 18, 2022. And the main events of the festival will take place from March 13 to 16.
The goal of the festival is to increase community understanding of Web3 technology. Last year a similar event was held, then it brought together over three thousand people. This year, more than 20 thousands speakers and participants are expected.
In 2022, the main trend in the blockchain industry is metaverses. This trend gathers the NFT, DeFi, and GameFi sectors.

The metaverse is an interesting topic of discussion. Today, many famous designers and fashion houses make fashion shows in virtual space. This could mean that perhaps in a few years human life will begin to move into the metaverses
The WOW curators are exploring the NFT sector in detail, so at the festival the community will be able to visit the NFT Gallery. This exhibition will feature over 20 popular digital artists. The participants will be able to see the work of artists from countries such as the UAE, Russia, USA, Spain, Barbados, Sweden, Australia, Turkey, China, Japan, Lebanon and other countries.
There will be a large-scale program at the World of WEB3 Festival, where participants will learn about the emerging of augmented and virtual reality. In addition, a public installation will be implemented at the festival, so the attendees will get acquainted with with AR and VR in an interactive way.
