Leadership lays at the intersection of vision and responsibility – where the ability to imagine the future meets the discipline required to build it. In an era defined by complexity and rapid transformation, leadership is about alignment: aligning purpose with action, innovation with ethics, and ambition with long-term stewardship.
The universe itself offers a powerful metaphor. Governed by invisible yet immutable laws, it moves through balance, rhythm, and interconnectedness. From the smallest quantum particle to the vast architecture of galaxies, progress emerges not from chaos, but from harmony. This principle has long inspired my professional journey, guiding how I interpret responsibility, strategy, and impact.
In 2026, as I assume the role of Managing Director of SIPAL USA, this philosophy takes tangible form. SIPAL operates at the intersection of advanced engineering, energy, infrastructure, aerospace, defense, and high-technology systems — sectors that shape not only economies, but the very future of societies. Leading within such a context requires more than technical expertise; it demands vision, ethical grounding, and the ability to connect innovation with purpose.
The beginning of this new chapter coincides symbolically with the Wolf Moon, the first supermoon of the year. Its luminous presence, closer and brighter than usual, has long represented clarity, renewal, and strength of direction. It is a reminder that meaningful leadership is not reactive, but intentional — guided by foresight and anchored in values.
This same spirit was powerfully reinforced during the last Aerospace Day in Washington, D.C., where I had the privilege of engaging with global leaders shaping the future of space and advanced technologies, under the blessing of his Excellency Marco Peronaci, the Ambassador of Italy to the United States of America. I had the chance to encounters with figures such as Colonel Walter Villadei, Cosmonaut, Italian Air Force Representative in the US for the activities of Access to Space within the Commercial Spaceflight and Captain Michael López-Alegría, Cosmonaut, test pilot and commercial astronaut with dual nationality, American and Spanish; a veteran of three Space Shuttlemissions and one International Space Station mission. These guys who have quite literally expanded the boundaries of human possibility – reaffirmed a fundamental truth: progress emerges when courage, knowledge, and collaboration converge.
In a world facing unprecedented technological acceleration and geopolitical complexity, leadership must evolve. It must be integrative rather than fragmented, visionary yet grounded, innovative yet responsible. The future will not be shaped by isolated brilliance, but by ecosystems of cooperation built on trust, intelligence, and shared purpose.
Like the cosmos itself, where every element is connected and every movement matters, meaningful leadership today requires balance – between science and humanity, ambition and ethics, progress and purpose. It is within this equilibrium that I choose to lead, to build, and to contribute to shaping a future worthy of the generations to come.
Special thanks to my great friends close to me in this adventure: Prof. Paolo Gaudenzi, Science and technology counselor (Science attachè) at General Consulate of Italy in Boston and Head of Department of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering, La Sapienza University of Rome; and Bonnie Carrol, President and Founder of the Tragedy Assistance Program for Survivors (TAPS), who served for 16 years in the Air National Guard as the Transportation Officer, Logistics Officer, and Executive Officer.
She also held the position of Chief of Casualty Operations at HQ USAF and worked at the Pentagon with the USAF National Security and Emergency Preparedness staff. Additionally, she was appointed as White House Liaison for the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA).
With these amazing people around, I am ready to face this 2026 ambitious challenge.
