I’m so excited to be part of 1 Billion Followers Summit Dubai 2026

From January 9–11, 2026, Dubai hosts the 1 Billion Followers Summit, the world’s largest event dedicated to the global creator economy. More than 15,000 influencers, representing a combined reach of 3.5 billion followers, gather in the city recognized as a global hub for digital innovation.

The summit brings together leading voices from fashion, technology, sports, entertainment, lifestyle, artificial intelligence, personal finance, food, and beyond. Many participating creators command audiences of millions—and even billions—across platforms such as Instagram, YouTube, TikTok, and other major social networks.

Where

Organised by the UAE Government Media Office, the summit takes place across three iconic Dubai locations:

– Emirates Towers

– Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC)

– Museum of the Future

Held under the theme “Content for Good,” the event reinforces Dubai’s position as a global centre for digital storytelling, innovation, and the future of social media influence.

What it’s about

The 1 Billion Followers Summit celebrates the power of online communities while shaping the future of the creator economy. The programme focuses on learning, networking, collaboration, and innovation, bringing together top creators, digital entrepreneurs, platform leaders, and policymakers. As content creators increasingly rival—and often surpass—traditional media in reach and influence, the summit explores how digital content is reshaping business, culture, and public discourse worldwide.

What happens

Attendees gain insights into content monetisation, audience growth strategies, brand partnerships, and the evolving creator–brand economy. The summit also examines emerging trends such as the rise of new social platforms and niche communities, the growing role of artificial intelligence, and developments in live streaming and short-form video. Panel discussions address key topics including the future of social media, the ethics of digital influence, mental health for creators, and the expanding societal role of influencers.

Highlights

Among the major initiatives featured is 1 Billion Acts of Kindness, launched in collaboration with MrBeast, alongside the 1 Billion AI Film Award, which celebrates innovation at the intersection of storytelling and artificial intelligence, awarding one winner a $1 million grand prize
